Used Nissan Stagea

The Nissan Stagea was built as a direct competitor against the Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon in Japan’s domestic car market. It is also referred to as the Skyline Wagon, having a station wagon design and body, making it more ideal for family use than for racetrack use. The Stagea was available in two versions: the WC34 Series 1, which was produced in 1996 to the late 1998, and the WC34 Series 2, which was produced from 1998 to 2001. The Series 1 was available with a choice of 2.0 liter and 2.5 liter turbo engines, which were both RB series engine models. Being available as well are two-wheel and four-wheel drive variants, the Stagea was purposefully being made by Nissan to be a versatile and performing vehicle for all around use at home, at work, and for sports. The four-wheel drive system is similar to the system that was used in the used Nissan Skyline GTR. The power coming from this beauty ranges from 114 kW in the 2.0-liter version to 172 kW in the 2.5-liter turbo version. Seemingly, a high level of power and performance, the Series 1 was only available in a four-speed automatic transmission system. The Series 1 also bears a lot of similarities with the Nissan Series 3 R31 Skyline. This is because of the modeling of the front part of the car, with the installation of the headlights having the same shape as those of the Skyline’s, although being slightly larger. The installation of air vent cooling systems and direction indicator lights are also reminiscent of R31 Skyline. For this reason, the Series 1 was thought to be the successor to the Skyline name. The WC34 series 2 is actually the same as the Series 1, having upgrades and enhancements than actual variations in design. What is noticeable in the Series 2 is that the headlights are slightly different by reason of the high beam light being moved to the grille. This version was also made available in the same engine choices available to the Series 1, although the engines of the Series 2 are actually upgraded NEO variations of the previous engine models. The power produced by these performance machines ranges from 153 hp for the 2-liter version to 276 hp for the 2.5-liter turbo version. This was a clearly higher power upgrade for both engine models. Also, two-wheel and four-wheel drive options are available, maintaining that same degree of reliability and versatility. A selection between four-speed automatic, four-speed Tiptronic, and a five-speed manual transmission were also made available.
